Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers Recipe

In past years when there was no demand of eating veggie burgers and it was especially eaten by those folks who are vegetarians or those who have a plan to lose their weight.
However, veggie burgers become popular among all who wishes to make them much healthier. For those who love the taste of spicy beef burger, they might have to consider switching to veggie burger after trying the recipe of Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers. Its ingredients are as follows:-
 

Ingredients:

  • Can of black bean which is drained and then rinsed
  • ½ green bell pepper which is cut into two inch of pieces
  • ½ onion and cut like wedges
  • 3 cloves of garlic in peeled form
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup of bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon of chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon of hot sauce or Thai chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of cumin



Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers Recipe

Preparation:

1. If you want to grill it, you have to preheat the grill outside your home at high heat and slightly oil the sheet which is of aluminum foil. Other option is if you want to bake it, you first preheat the oven at 375 degrees of Fahrenheit or 190 degrees Celsius. Then slightly put oil in to baking sheet.
2. Take a medium bowl and by using fork, mash all black beans until they become pasty and thick.
3. Take food processor, add bell pepper, garlic, onion and chop all finely and mix them in to crush beans.
4. Take a small bowl and blend egg, chili sauce and cumin properly.
5. Now mix the mixture of egg in crushed beans and then mix them with bread crumbs when the mixture become sticky plus hold simultaneously. Now divide the mixture in to 4 medium patties.
6. For grilling, place all patties on grill for maximum 8 minutes both sides. For baking, place the patties on the baking sheet and bake both sides for 10 minutes.
